If you're an American…

At this time, we are not placing Americans with our employers, but we do anticipate significant future periods of time when employer demand will be so high that there could be plenty of work for non-Canadians.

We encourage you to let us know you're interested now so that when demand rises, we can contact you and begin the process of connecting you with very high-paying, medium to long-term employment.

Here are some things about working in Canada that citizens of other countries need to be aware of:

You need a clean criminal record, which includes no DUI

Canadian employers apply to our federal government for a Labour Market Opinion (LMO) covering a project. Approval allows them to bring in foreign workers.

The employer contacts us with its skilled worker needs. We contact you if you have the right qualifications, and we connect you with the employer.

It is the employer's responsibility to arrange your immigration entry into Canada. They usually help with travel and orientation arrangements as well.

Once you are here, you are eligible to move from project to project, and employer to employer, providing you are always working on projects that have received an LMO.

Some of our major projects are camp-based. Most Canadian work camps are clean and well-managed. Food is good and plentiful. Accommodation is single, with bathroom shared (usually with 1 other).

Outside of camp, Living Out Allowance is currently $120 a day if you are living more than 100 kilometers (about 60 miles) from projects that are more than 100 kilometers from the cities of Regina or Saskatoon.
